The music industry has changed drastically in the last decade. Upcoming artists no longer require a major record label to help put their careers on the map. #1: Having the Right Team

Success is rarely achieved by one’s self. There are a multitude of influences, structures, and people that helped you along your journey. HAVE THE RIGHT TEAM!! I can’t stress that enough! Ever heard the saying –

Have people in your circle that share the same ambitions and have the same determination as you

There is no other easy way to fail, by having dead weight around your circle. Make sure that you have a team full of professionals that can contribute to your vision. Each person should have a role and execute their expertise to their full potential. For example one should focus on business, another should focus on creative production, one should focus on branding, and another should focus on product distribution. Those are a few examples of roles and expertise. Finding that perfect chemistry amongst your peers will take time, some will leave and some will stay. Create a mechanism for your team that works. FIND YOUR BACKBONE, HAVE THE RIGHT TEAM!
